It enjoys full fermentation in oak barrels followed by extended cellar aging - more than twice the time required by the appellation - with moderate dosage of 8 g/L. On the palate the wine is plump, generous and enticing, reminiscent of Mirabelle plum jam. Texture and richness define the tasting experience. The finish blends notes of chocolate and citrus fruits, bringing a touch of acidity, lengthened further by hints of schist. A hugely generous wine!

Church Road Grand Reserve wines are produced only in exceptional vintages. The very best low-cropping vineyard blocks are targeted for selective hand-harvesting to yield wines with the greatest possible flavour, depth and concentration. The Grand Reserve Pinot Noir is wild fermented with a proportion of whole bunches.
